The Board of Commissioners is required to follow union contracts and bargaining agreements for the seven unions in the county.  However, when it comes to themselves or their personal staff, they give massive raises year over year.  They pay for these raises by property tax increases.  They refuse to consult with the public or employment resources when giving these unfair raises.  Wes only works two days a a week at the county seat in Colville.  He recently gave himself a $25,000  raise
